Marico reports 63.40% rise in Q1 net profit (03-Aug-2012)

Marico has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2012.

On standalone basis, the company has reported a rise of 63.40% in its net profit at Rs 133.35 crore for the quarter, as compared to Rs 81.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  Total income of the company has increased by 22.03% to Rs 988.94 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 810.39 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 45.68% in its net profit at Rs 123.83 crore for the quarter, as compared to Rs 85.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 22.30% to Rs 1284.83 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1050.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
