Mahindra And Mahindra Opens R And D Centre For Two Wheelers In Pune (05-Jul-2012)
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has opened a new R&D centre for two-wheelers in Pune, with the investment of Rs 100 crore. The R&D center has 175 engineers and designers. It aims to spend around Rs 500 crore over the next five years on this center.
Recently, M&M has launched Bolero Maxi Truck. The company has priced that product at Rs 4.08 lakh in ex-showroom BS3 Karnataka, standard version.
The company has registered 16.12% increase in its sales for June at 41,322 units against 35,584 units in the same month last year. The domestic sales stood at 38,951 units during the month against 33,772 units in June 2011, up 15%.
