Religare Capital Markets Limited Strengthens Research Offering With Two Senior Hires In India
Religare Capital Markets Limited (RCML), a part of Religare Enterprises Limited (REL), a diversified financial services group, today announced the appointment of Manoj Singla and Suhas R Harlnarayanan as co-heads of Research. RCML is the Institutional broking and investment banking arm of REL Manoj Singla and Suhas R Harinarayanan arrive with experience from research roles at international financial services companies and will provide RCML with a cross sector and geographic research offering.

Manoj Singla established his research expertise at JP Morgan where he was Executive Director of Equity Research, Head of Software and IT Services, Asia Pacific and India. He was previously at Credit Suisse First Boston In Mumbai. Manoj is a graduate of. Indian Institute of Management (MM), Ahmedabad and has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (NT), Kanpur.

Manoj has been ranked among the top three analysts in the Software and Services sector by Institutional Investor Rankings In the last 5 years. He was Number 2 In 2005 and Number''1 in 2006 and 2007. He has also featured among the top three analysts in the Software and Services sector by Asia Money Rankings for the last 5 years.

Suhas R Harlnarayanan Joins RCML from UBS Securities, where he was latterly Executive Director of Research In Mumbai. He was the lead analyst for Indian real estate, utilities and infrastructure sectors and was also responsible for the overall research products for UBS in India. He has been rated highly by investors on these sectors and was rated amongst the top analysts In India by Institutional Investor and Asia Money over the past 2 years. Suhas is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Management (MM), Ahmedabad.

Manoj Singla and Suhas Harlnarayanan will be responsible for the development of the research platform in India, producing coverage on blue chip stocks and running the team of research analysts.

The latest senior appointments follow the recent senior management arrivals and research hires in London and reiterates RCML''s ongoing commitment to strengthening its research capability as it seeks to establish a complete emerging market investment banking platform.
