Black pepper showed steady trend in Kochi spot markets on Thursday, tailing the decline in futures on profit taking. Black pepper un-garbled was being offered at Rs 40,500 per quintal and MG-1 at Rs 41,500 a quintal in spot market. In the international market, Indian black pepper MG-1 quoted at $7,900-8,000 per tonne Europe and $8,200-8,300 per tonne C&F US.
