Natural Gas futures move higher tailing global cues (18-Sep-2012)

Natural Gas futures have moved higher on MCX tracking the gains in international markets. Traders are now eyeing the US weather forecasts and storm activity in the Atlantic to take further cues.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 156.40, up by 0.64% or Rs 1.00 from its previous closing of Rs 155.40. The open interest of the contract stood at 25679 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 165.20, up by 0.30% or Rs 0.50 from its previous closing of Rs 164.70. The open interest of the contract stood at 4618 lots on MCX.
