Mentha Oil Futures Trade In Red On MCX (21-Jun-2012)
Mentha oil futures edged lower on account of profit booking tracing the subdued demand of the commodity in the spot markets. Higher arrivals of Mentha in mandis have also added pressure over the prices of the commodity.
The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 1300.90, down by 1.80% or Rs 23.90 from its previous closing of Rs 1324.80. The open interest of the contract stood at 2067 lots.
The contract for July delivery was trading at Rs 1320.00, down by 1.81% or Rs 24.30 from its previous closing of Rs 1344.30. The open interest of the contract stood at 2035 lots on MCX.
