Jeera Futures Protract Northbound Trajectory (15-Jun-2012)
Jeera futures protracted their northbound trajectory on consistent buying activities. Low trading activities dominated trade for quite few sessions, but with rising dollar and possibilities of exports picking up in coming weeks; market sentiments are likely to remain moderately firm for the medium term. However, short term trend, is likely to remain volatile due to a general weakness in most Agri-Commodities.
The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 13030.00, up by 0.31% or Rs 40.00 from its previous closing of Rs 12990.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 672 lots.
The contract for July delivery was trading at Rs 13,240.00, up by 0.44% or Rs 57.50 from its previous closing of Rs 13182.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 15927.00 lots on NCDEX.
